I never in my life thought I would ever see this day. I was talking to my 84yr old grandmother last night and it was so great to see the excitement in her eyes. I know I will be shedding tears today, tears of joy. Barack Obama has alot of work ahead of him, but I know he wiil be a great president.
This will be a day I will always remember.

First of all, I think the republicans are fine with it. They’re all there supporting President Obama. Second of all, the KKK comment was not needed. Third of all, I am so filled with joy and jublilation! This will be a divinely splendiferous day in history for all in America!

I feel joy. I watched my grandmother act giddy and cry tears of joy. This is amazing! I love hearing him speak. His speeches are impowering, positive, realistic yet with options of resolving the problems and full of hope. You got ‘Bama Boy!

I’m in awe. My father attended segregated school in Virginia. When the laws were changed the schools in his town didn’t intergate – they shut down.
I can’t believe my eyes. I am inspired by what Barack Obama has achieved.

why some of you who commented never believed in yourself before he became president you should have known sky was the limit when MLK walked; but many have forgotten. all i can say is hope he does what he planed to do. The republican & kkk was ignorant. he wants to merge with the republicans & i doubt the kkk are worried because in the end they will still exsist. stop basing this whole thing on his race people & base it on his personality & what he can do. More people only base it on his race/nationality which is [black/white/hawiian]?? makes me say is he good enough to be president. come on folks yes be proud he made it but give me more to believe than just my “black president”.

Michelle Obama looks like a slave. While she is very intelligent and will surely make a great First Lady she is truly an ugly woman with a rough-face.

Everytime I think about it I get tears of joy running down my face. In my lifetime to be able to witness the election of a multiracial President is a wonderful thing. He has given most people a renewed sense of hope and achievement. He dreamt the impossible dream and it came true. Now people all over the world realize yes you can and that is a beautiful thing.
This day is so historical and I could not think of a better person to make history.
God Bless America!!

Oh and what’s wrong with looking like a Slave? See you’re still in that silly mentality we’ve been brainwashed with. Dude Slaves where our ancestors. If she looks ugly as a slave I guess you do too cause they where your ancestors too. Fuck outta here. All black is beautiful.

For ALL of the uninformed, it has been stated on CNN and Babara Walters asked Obama in her interview with him, What did he think about the KKK using his election as a RECRUITING tool. So, for everyone sayin that the KKK comment was ignorant, it’s called staying up on current events; maybe all of you should try it sometimes before you type your uninformed comments. Some people just hop on the Obama bandwagon, but some are ACTUALLY informed.
And for all of those saying the republicans don’t care, you OBVIOUSLY missed Anne Caltour’s interview on the Today Show where she kept referring to Obama as B. Hussein Obama. And you obviously know nothing about Sean Hannity, Bill O’Reilly, Rush Limbaugh, etc. But I won’t waste anymore of my time trying to educate a bunch of politically uninformed dimwits…..
