January 14, 2009 Rihanna’s Was Influenced By Destiny’s Child!

I artwork is splendiferous! A collection of Rihanna’s top songs that inspired her are in this promotion artwork for the 51st Grammy Awards coming up in the following weeks. What amazes me is that out of 15 songs, 5 of them are from Destiny’s Child (oh how I miss them). To view more artwork of Lil Wayne and Lenny Kravitz, visit Spinner.com. Thoughts?

Influenced by Destiny’s Child! Either she is too young or I’m too old.

Actually she names 8 Mariah songs. Vision of Love, Emotions, Dreamlover, We Belong Together, Butterfly, Honey,Always Be My Baby, and Can’t Let Go.
I must say even though I don’t think she can sing she’s got good taste as far as musical influences go.

Rihanna has said countless times that Beyonce is her greatest Idol, so it’s no surprise that she was influenced by Destiny’s Child as well; if she would make a song like DC, Mariah, Whitney then maybe I’ll gain respect for this seemingly overrated artist. I swear kids say the darnest things, her songs are catchy but if anything forgettable. Except Umbrella
