Beyonce’s version was definitely BETTER. This wasn’t even a ballad, and Ciara couldn’t hang in the vocal department. Her falsetto was WEAK, and Beyonce’s voice was powerful for this type of song. She couldn’t even hit the chorus right.
Nice try. But…it’s funny how Beyonce wore that dress MONTHS before Ciara, then she wore it. Next she’s jumping on her track. But you can’t be a Diva when your album got pushed back, from December so you wouldn’t fade in Beyonce’s spotlight. True Diva’s will release their music. But yeah, Beyonce definitely ran this!

i don’t think ciara is trying to “come” for anybody. she heard “diva”, she liked it, she covered it out of respect. no biggie. i personally think that “diva” was too hard for even beyonce to pull off. and beyonce swagger jacks ALL. THE. TIME.
i also don’t think the song was originally about being a vocalist, it’s got a rappers’ swag to it. so it is what it is.
