I love both songs. I do love the video for “Diva”…it was hard and edgy yet avant garde at the same time. “Halo” was sweet and nice and Michael Ealy was a treat. They had chemistry.

Wow. The the only thing good with Halo was the man selection. For such a beautiful song, the video does it no justice at all. Just so disappointing after anticipating it for so long. And Diva was just down right awful! a horrible combination of single ladies and disturbia. Beyonce you should really act your age and do videos that showcase your talent instead of trying to compete with the stars of a younger generation. I saw you copying Ciara’s back bend! lol.

I just keep thinking that there is more inside of her like when DIL came out. She was a leader and led the game. Ok, the second album, she showed she could swagger jack all the other chicks in the game and do it better. I get it. The third album is about Sasha Fierce.

Um Disturbia? Two different concepts. I mean I only saw the video once but I know I didn’t see a zombie. Lets get real here.
I also don’t think people get the concept of the album and idea of Sasha Fierce. Let’s break it down. Sasha Fierce is a STAGE PERSONALITY. It isn’t REALLY Beyonce. Sasha Fierce is an ACT. I really don’t interrupt Diva more than a hot beat and some catchy lyrics (and now a hot video) and I really don’t think people should get all philosophical with it.
I love Diva. Halo, for being one of my instant favorites on that side of the album was just alright. There were some real exquisite shots by the window and with her in the water, but other then that it could have been better.

Was blowing up some mannequins in the trunk of a car supposed to be a metaphor? The song and it’s lyrics were already questionable. The video didn’t help.
Halo was a huge disappointment. It’s probably the most beautiful and honest song she’s ever done, and the video just falls flat. It was so cliche and her movement/singing looked so forced. Michael Ealy is georgeous tho!!

DIVA is a female version of a hustler = she gets money , she handles her business to get her paper .
