Now there’s the ORIGINAL Diva with the whistle register! LOVE ME some Minnie Ripperton, and this is one of my favorite songs by her, next to “Loving You” and “Memory Lane”…
Her performance of this song is so sensual…

jay i doesnt matter who was the first.what matters is that minnie made it reconized better than any first.she perfected it.not just her high octave,but minnies voice was angelic,and there isnt a performer yet who has brought that personna to the mike.
