On Sunday, Chris Brown signed DVD’s at a toy drive in aid of the Tappahanock Children’s center in Tappahanock, Virginia. It was a good thing he did. His fans got to meet and greet him. While Chris was inside, his girlfriend Rihanna was outside – and get this, Rihanna is about to release her hit album for a third time entitled Good Girl Gone Bad: The Remixes on January 27th. As much as I love what Rihanna does, I think we need to quit with all the songs from this album and work on a brand new album. Thoughts? I agree with what you said about Rihanna! I like her but I’m not that huge a fan of her to begin with so I’m getting a little burned out on the Good Girl Gone Bad album with it being released and re-released, only to be remixed and released again. Not to mention, she has made a video for just about every song on the album in the span of 2 years. If she wanted to do that, she could have just did what Beyonce did and did a video anthology and been through with it! But I really think that Good Girl Gone Bad is a done datta and if it isn’t yet, it needs to be!

AND she has a concert DVD out of her performing the songs from Good Girl Gone Bad! Homegirl just needs to take a break and start on some fresh material! Bottomline.

We have to fault Def Jam for constantly re-relelasing the cd…. Def Jam is still pushing GGGB because it is still selling 30,000+ units oversees weekly so they don’t want to miss out on all the potential profits to come their way. And as much as we disagree there will be many who go out and purchase this cd as well… no lie I was on a Rihanna fan site and there was a person on there showing off their Rihanna collection…. he had over 94 cds… everything from singles, remixes, imports… and so on… Def Jam knows there are people out there that will spend money on Rihanna stuff so unfortunately they are going to push GGGB until the wheels fall off. I personally love Rihanna but I’m not ready for new music from her yet…. she needs to let GGGB die out completely and then come back. Having some time away will give consumers time to miss her hense making them want to go out and buy whatever new music she releases. Overkill oversaturation of the market is so not good…
Glad to see someone, celeb or not, doing good and giving back to the community from which they were raised. If more did so this world would be a much better place.
Oh yeah… saw some other club pics and by the end of the night Rihanna defintitely had a buzz going… so funny… she looks good and tipsy in the pics…. lol *sigh* those were the days…. lol

Let’s see who got talent NOW!!! as i said before and i will say again…i admire Riri’s sense of style…but damn, she can’t sing and dance for shit. She and chris are just there for the media hype…soon they will be admitting that they are dating because the hype is dying down…yawwnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn*

I think she is working on a new project but to keep her name in the mouth of the Music media the powers that be are gonna drop another remix cd and the people will buy it..especially if you puts some videos extras on it.

I think they’re milking the cow for what it’s worth. That album is selling like hotcakes so they want to make sure they get all it’s worth before moving on.
