Kerry Washington arrived at the 23rd Annual American Cinematheque Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Monday night in Beverly Hills. I love Kerry’s print in her ensemble! Kerry’s costar in Lakeview Terrace, Samuel L. Jackson, attended the event as well along with his family. Kerry recently told the The Press Association that Samuel is actually a really silly person.

“It’s an interesting dichotomy,” Kerry revealed. “He’s very laid back, really silly, very funny but he also takes his job very seriously…I think he is intimidating to a lot of people,” she said. “But for me I’ve always just been waiting for the opportunity to work with him because I feel like unless you work with Sam Jackson you’re not even really an actor!”
