I’ve Never really been a fan of Leona, I’ve always had the view point that she can hit all the notes but I’ve never really liked her tone and it always feels/sounds a bit emotionless with no conviction. However I was pleasantly surprised by watching this video, it’s the best vocal i’ve ever heard her do (I think she sounds better in her lower register instead of all the falsetto acrobatics) and it felt for once like she was truely singing from her heart and not the way the vocal arranger told her to sing….I hope she continues to sing like this she sounds like she’s coming into her own. She has a beautiful voice! She reminds me of Mariah when she first came out with Vision of Love; no gimmick, just the voice. She can go a long way!

I like it and I’m close to loving it but the overdone music and choir kills it…its just supposed to be about the raw emotion and it gets lost at some point unlike the the Snow Patrol version..which is beautiful
