the song is nice but it doesn’t anything different from all of her other stuff. This album was supposed to be different but she doing pretty much the same thing. Its not iconic or timeless material. Maybe Beyonce should have a talk with Alicia Keys and find out what her secrets are. Hell, maybe she should have a talk with Britney because sure nuff Miss Spears is the next icon of the music world. LOL. Beyonce is just played out already. Michelle’s album was way way way better than the material I’m hearing so far from Beyonce but she has such a huge Ego, she needs learn to back it up with something that’s going to have her name in music history books.

i do not like ego not at all and i know it won’t grow on me however HALO is so hot i’ve been listening to it since i heard it…….she is making a big mistake with choosing EGO as her next urban single it just sounds like a cd song not a single so to speak……….. she should have made DIVA her next urban single to really show the difference between Beyonce and Sasha all she do on EGO is cuss

Like Beyonce, HATE the album. I had for almost 2 weeks now and it hasn’t grown on me at all. Loved her last album, but sorry this doesn’t cut it at all.
BELOVED, umm last time I checked Beyonce wasn’t the queen of anything. It’s all great you’re a fan(yea!) but lets be real.

From the snippets that I heard … I am … is pretty groundbreaking.
I have never heard anything like that from a POP-meaning popular R&B Artist.
What Beyonce is doing is brave.
A lot of these songs are not R&B tracks and wont be played on the Streets.
Thats how you become Iconic – by coming outside of expected range.
Britney’s range is determined by the Technology on the soundboard.

I am listening to the album right now…..this stuff is epic. The true fans will emerge from this era….she aint playing…there is none of that upgrade me business! Beyonce is a grown ass woman taking risks…you either hate it or love it because you appreciate growth!
