Beyonce performed her hit single “If I Were A Boy” at the MTV European Music Awards 2008 on Thursday. I dislike the ensemble, but great performance. I love when beyonce sings this song, but i do want her to perform single ladies more. As for Shanice i only liked when she got to 1:22-2:24 and she could have kept the high part at the end.

Shanice – One of the most underrated voices of our generation. Shanice can blow the majority of these girls away with one note. Go girl

Beyonce is Major on such a different level than the typical R&B pop singer, she doesn’t follow they typical urban machine, and thats why most are a bit putt off by this dress. Ms. Knowles is wearing Gareth Pugh one of the hottest young designers out of London right now, just did his first Paris show this season. The fact that Beyonce is not only brave enough but smart to be going in this direction, I take my hats off to her.

Beyonce is trying hard to be this ‘Icon/Legend’ whateva she wishes to be so she’s going to be taking some risk. I am impressed by her work ethic and determination and lack of fear in trying something different……..and basically everyone forgets even though Beyonce is the artist she has a whole team of people telling her how to pull this stuff off!
