I had the fortunate pleasure of seeing Janet perform when she and the tour came to Detroit and I have got to say…. MS. JACKSON PUTS IT DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Janet she has nothing and no one to worry about…. there is NO ONE out now who can even think about taking her crown.
I’ve seen Janet and Ciara both in concert and Ciara still looks like she’s in preschool compared to Janet and the show she puts on. Me and every one else in the arena stood for over 2 hours screaming, dancing, and singing along with Ms. Jackson.
I was in awe…. one if not the best concert [next to Maxwell of course] I’ve been to in a long long time… and if she comes close to my way again I will definitely be going to see her again!

When she came to t.dot…people could care less about LL Cool J…so whether he is there or not it doesnt matter. People are there for the main attraction…Ms. Janet Jackson!

just had to mess with cici to make janet seem worthy. i love and respect janet but she’s been doing this for over 30 years. ciara has 3 years of touring under her belt and she’s still spectacular still. stop the hate

saw her in DC… AWESOME…AMAZING ( i think the tix were priced wrong… that would have filled the arenas. someone tell the millionares running live nation we are in a recession, ppl don’t have 130 to spend on two hours even if it is well worth it)

yeah the tickets were high.. but that’s because of the set of the stage. She was so close to everyone that you could see her from every angle and it seems like she was a touch away from u.. It was a great show.. Sorry to hear about LL not making it. but hey.. LL is a busy man too and schedule conflicts happens alot in showbiz. As far as comparing.. People.. we the fans do the comparing, the celebrities themselves applaud each other’s work. Cici is a fan of Janet.. and Janet applauds Cici, there is no hate there. only the fans are hating and making a big deal out of it. so just drop it and enjoy the talent from both, because if they put something together.. I’ll be the first to buy it.. I love them both. but as far as this concert.. I was up dancing and singing every song and was sweating more than Janet.. IT WAS THE BOMB!!! GONE GIRL MISS JANET!!! It was a concert that I didn’t want it to end. If she puts it on video.. I’m buying it.. (THOUGHTS for u JJ!!)

I was there, and the show was INCREDIBLE!!!
The tickets were high (I bought two VIP seats…), but it was WELL WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!!

Essence….ticket sales do mean everything! Janet is stuck in the 80′S! Madonna still out sells
them all…..once again, She(Madonna) is headed for another world record! The statistics speak for themselves. Its kind of sad when Janet performs in Detroit @ an arena that holds 22,000 people and only about 8,000 seats are sold and Mo sells out 4 nights in New York! Not to mention the 2 nights sold out in Mexico City @ a venue that holds 100,000 people…..Janet, give it a rest!

i agree with Essence…the energy level that Madonna and Janet bring to the table are TWO DIFFERENT THINGS! I went to the Janet concert and this lady was singing and dancing for two straight hours…I aint hatin on Madonna…but Madonna was never the one to straight sing and dance and never will be. Madonna is all about antics and get ups while Janet is all about the performance. And why the friggen hell did I see Madonnas tickets for floor going for 350!!!!! Thats bananas..Janet’s were only 130 and I was right there in front of her. Totally worth seeing her live!

I saw Janet at the Civic Center in New Jersey and to be honest, she wasn’t in top form. I’ve seen Janet about 10 times from the Rhythm Nation tour to Sat. night at MSG in New York. HANDS DOWN THE BEST CONCERT EVER SATURDAY NIGHT AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN. SHE FREAKIN’ KILT IT!!!!! She has now, to me, redeemed herself because out of 10 times you give me one so-so show but the last show i see you in – DESTROY THE STAGE! You are the legend you have worked so hard to be. Janet it the best performer! Case closed… it’s a wrap. Can’t wait til this tour goes on DVD cause it will be in rotation. Esp. Feedback and Pleasure Principle – both songs were ill performances.
