October 27, 2008 Video Sneak Peek: Christina Aguilera
Later on today, Christina Aguilera will premiere her first music video for “Keeps Gettin’ Better” off of her upcoming album, Keeps Gettin’ Better – A Decades Of Hits. Her song doesn’t seem to be doing that well. The video might give it the push that it needs. Thoughts?

songs not doing that well? it was her highest debut ever. it peaked at #7 on hot 100 without a video or major promotion. thats pretty well to me.

yeah i agree with nate…..it performed pretty well w/o vid or promote but i think the vid is long overdue since we first heard the song at the VMA

Yeah, well the following week its at 27 and radio has been giving it the finger. Not much of a hit.

well Rob considering how this is just a song off of a greatest hits compilation, in which not many songs off greatest hits perform as well as this one did. its a hit, any song that reaches top 10 is a hit. how can a song stick to the top without a video, or anything?

Excuse me, it is very possible for a song to stick to the top without a video -TI and Rihanna #1 – HELLO. With this digital single era we are in it is very possible. But radio and public reception still play a factor and one that so far has not been in favor of Ms. Aguilera’s latest effort.
