October 20, 2008 A Settlement Has Been Reached!

It looks like Guy Richie, Madonna’s estranged husband, will walk away with $60 million which includes a 1,200-acre country estate and a London pub.

“The negotiations were relatively painless. Guy knew what he wanted and Madonna knew what she was keen to keep. There was a spell when Guy was in a mood to dig his heels in, but he decided this arrangement seemed reasonable and a long battle over money would make life unbearable.” MSNBC

If he truly wanted to, he could have gotten half of Madonna’s earnings since they did not sign a pre-nup. I can tell that both parties were not happy during their marriage even though they plastered fake smiles to dismiss the rumors that they were divorcing. If your spouse allegedly cheated on you, would you have settled for $60 million or who you have gone for the max…$500 million?

  • That’s a lot of money!

  • I wonder if Madonna got to keep her fake British accent.

  • 60 mill and my dignity.

  • I would take the million and more. cheating gets on my nerves its like putting your fingers nails to a chack board. That’s how much I hate cheating.

  • I would be screaming at Madonna “you better pay what you owe!!!!!!!!!” ala Riley from the Boondocks. But I actually was hoping for their marriage to last even though their celbrities. I remember seeing them leave the church with their son after his baptismal and I thought it was meant to last – but I guess Madonna still has some freak in her left.

  • I’m sorry I don’t agree, if he was any kind of man he would say give that to my two kids please…. What a shame… “Love Muffins”…. How sad, that ” “Kabbala” stuff destroyed there marriage Big time.
