I saw this on VH1 this morning and one thing that I have to say is…SHE’S BACK! I love that Beyoncé is giving us two sides of her at the same time. Her more introspective, depth side and her usual spunky and fierce “Sasha” alter ego.
With this video she took it back to the 80s and early 90s like Janet and Paula and just had two dancers and there was NOTHING BUT DANCE! From start to finish, no distractions. It was raw dancing!

She is coming back strong this time around. She gave one video that was all about the story, and this one was all about the dancing. I love that it was simple and focused on just her and two dancers because it showed that she doesn’t need all of the extra theatrics to make a good video. She can just dance her behind off the entire time and make it better than 99% the crap people put out today. That’s real talent for you.

Great vid…b/w works. High energy. The routine is basically a homage I think to the SWAC black college bands dancers in the South. You can take any group of ladies who dance in front of one of the bands and have the same music and the look and moves would be the same like the Jackson State J-settes, Grambling, Alcorn, Southern etc. Her male choreographer did an excellent job teaching them the routine.

It would be intelligent of her to talk a bit about the influences in her music and dance, it would not take away from her awesomness!!! Itwould only reveal how eclectic and serious she is about her craft. She is the isht!!! an amazing woman GO BEY!!!!

I have to admit that I don’t like either one of her new songs but I love the videos. I really like the simplicity of this one. All dance (JJ) and black & white. She looks gorgeous and I was so glad that she smiled. Then she danced on the wall and it had few cuts. The dancer on the right sometimes stole the shine a few times. I youtubed gwen verdon & I see similarities. I wish she would also talk about her influences because although she is talented she is not that original.

ARE YOU PEOPLE KIDDING?? This song is complete garbage! If she keeps putting crap out like this shes going to disappear from relevance like Paula, Madonna, ect… The dancing is retarded. Is she dancing or doing a tae bo work out video. Beyonce Each album since you left Destiny’s Child has become worse and worse. I will be suprised if this album sells 500K units. Only reason it does is because shes made it. If some unknown made this song it would be ridculed, laughed at and people would put it in their urinal receptacles so they could piss on it.
