    Uh she looking real Janet like from where I sit (LOL). The song is okay, but I am TIRED of TPain, I think it would have much better without his long azz rap down in the middle. Cici can dance though! Ding, Ding the bell is ringing, Beyonce up next!

    Ciara fan, love her first two albums. I felt like she attempted to be different and go to the next level. But I don’t see it. I mean she can pop her booty and split like a stripper. What’s so different? Sadly she would fit in with the Pussycat Dolls with no problem.

    The only thing I got excited about was the split in the chair. However, you can go to any strip club in the ATL and see that.

    Funny but I would have gotten more excited had she Krumped or created a new dance. You don’t see many females Krumpin as an artist. Ciara could pull it off and graduate from the pole.

    I think it takes a mature sense of what true entertainment is to be able to tactfully rate an artist like Ciara. No, she’s not of the big vocal tribe that Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Patti and nem are in. She’s not a Beyonce, middle of the road vocalist either. She doesnt have a HUGE voice. But guess what, thats what makes us different. Ciara uses her gift to the fullest potential. She has a strong work ethic like Aaliyah, she has the determination and poise of younger Michael Jackson. Ciara is great at lush melodies and hot dance grooves and she really creates to her advantage. She’s become an amazing dancer and when you hear Ciara, you know its Ciara. She’s unique and down to earth and a lot of you could learn something from her. You dont have to be able to sing the phone book to put on a good show. Ciara dances her ass off and records good songs and damnit thats good enough for me. She’s leveraging her beauty and is giving you a lot to chew on. How about the choreography..HOT….the LOOK of the video HOT! I hope Ciara is one of the artists that will bring good video making back into the forefront and until any of you haters can do better I say sit down and Shut ya simple asses UP! Ciara, you keep doin what you do!

    I think the video is…. ok. Im not seeing anything different from ciara other than her look. I think she is also a good dancer but we all have seen most of these moves from her before. I thought she was going to take it up a notch this go around but Im little disappointed in this one.

    I LUV CICI BUT…. Dis shit was real regular! She keep on doing them same ass dance moves, the matrix bullshit, splits, and da booty pop’n… She need to do something more creative man.     mdavis i couldn’t have said it better. ciara ain’t trying to bring no damn powerhouse vocals like beyonce or jennifer or whitney, mariah etc. Ciara is bringing (say it with me!) Ciara!! the fact that she is doing her and not anybody else is talent enough. ungrateful hatrs i tell you, it would be best not to even invest yo time into something you don’t like. cici is doin the damn thang and if haters can’t realize that then, theres the door, cici yoself right on outta here.

    Another fantastic video from Ciara. She killed Promise and Like A Boy, this video just might be her best to date.

    why is it that whenever someone doesn’t like something, they’re classified as “haters”? Can’t we just dislike something? You can’t expect everyone to like the same thing that you do, that doesn’t make them a hater, it just shows the diversity in personal taste.
    For me, the sound of it is played out. the whole electronic voice shit, i’m getting tired of that. But the video is entertaining, but i can take it or leave it. The only lasting impression was the elevator robe change part and the chair split. But again, could be better.

    And i’m tired of everyone comparing every female singer to beyonce. By comparing people, your ignoring what makes that person famous, why can’t you all accept an artist for who they are? (these are all rhetorical quesions, just to get you thinking)

    Video is fiyah, the song not so much. When did TPain just pop into the atmosphere. He be on everything, but has he had a hit of his own. Kinda scary looking. He prolly didn’t even need costume or makeup for the video. I’m starting a new innanet rumor that he is Tupac come back from the dead-zombie style. You didn’t see him when Tupac was “alive” did you? Bwaaahhhhh! Halloween.

    As many of you have said, yes Janet is all up in Ciara’s style (And so is Aaliyah to an extent) but hey, that is what the younger generation does, they take those influences and expand upon them!

    As for the video I really liked the direction and the dancing. She couldn’t go too crazy with it cause the record is a mellow one after all. I love the way Ciara is able to balance her sensual dancing with a nice beat, aka Promise (which yes, it was the DEAL!)

    So I’m liking this new image and it helps me like the song a lot more. Hopefully her next videos will totally change up the look seeing as each CD has a different theme to it anyway.

    i really like the video….i like the whole look of it…and the splits with the chair….this chick is a ridiculous dancer! although iw ould have liked to see more from her choreography…i do agree with some it is kinda old and played out from ciara’s point…but its still good and shes still a great dancer. she needs to bring some TOUGH choreography to her next video….after seeing Janet in concert…i need to see more from these ladies…if they want to be that much closer to the ICON…J J

    was not feeling the robocop at all. The song is not great so hopefully the video will do something to help it move up the charts otherwise her career could be as good as over!

    Yeah, I agree the video is very Janet/Aaliyah-ish. LOL @ SassyB. I caught that too with the “I’mma Do My Thang” part. :) This was my first time hearing the song and watching the video. Both haven’t grown on me yet but I’m sure it will. Love to see Ciara back, though.

    im not a fan of hers but once again if i like a song i’ll admit it/ the song is so so but the video is ok. theres nothing out there like this now, so thats kinda refreshing. but umm im not feeling the song. oh well cant p-lease everybody like solange said, LOL

    and yea it looks like other people’s videos but everybody’s vid looks a little like somebody else’s so what can you expect ya know? ;) ppl can compare all they want but try and pick out something that was actually different/their own
    to sunnybunn: i wonder a lot what aaliyah would be doing if she were here now. i still play her last cd over and over. that shit is still off the chain to me. she was definitely her own. i miss her…….. :(

    Loved the choreography and the song is a jam that I’m sure will grow on me. I’m tired of T-Pain too people. Loved him in Mariah’s “Migrate” but I was done after that. But no one seems to be pointing out the most obvious thing about this video. Have you seen the video montage that Britney does for Madonna’s current tour? Check it out on youtube and compare it to the elevator scene. Why is it so similar? And after that Ciara comes out lookin all “Human Nature”. It’s kind of unoriginal. But again, the choreography in the beginning is great. (And one more thing… didn’t Rihanna already do the short severe bob look?)

    Uh excuse me..um, altered_mind? But how in the hell is Aaliyah all up in Ciara’s style? Unless u just didn’t phrase that sentence right. If anything, it’s Ciara trynna run up on Aaliyah’s style..because Aaliyah was deceased 3 yrs before Miss Ciara popped onto the scene, so there ain’t no way that Aaliyah is up in Ciara’s style.
