I am a nana. Maybe I need to watch the shows some more.” US
I do enjoy the show, but we know the show is scripted which causes some of the horrible acting. What are your thoughts on MTV’s hit reality show The Hills?

All I can say is that she is gorgeous and she is right. As hard as I tried I just don’t get it. Now the first season was kind of good, but now they have lost me.

i agree…and i knew that show was/is obviously scripted…people couldn’t possibly be acting like that in real life…it sucks because the show really is about nothing and yet it’s the biggest thing out…it’s like the new 90210…and this is the model of american’s that the whole world sees…no wonder why other countries hate us so much.

i say, let em hate. its PEOPLE who make it bigger than what it really is. if one hates the show and sees no meaning, then pay absolutly no mind to it. thats the greatest way to hate, just don’tbother getting into it and distant oneself from it. thats the best way to do it.

Even though this show is about nothing…especially this season…I LOVE Lauren every since Laguna Beach days. I just wish of her so-called friends (really coat tail riders) wouldn’t get so much camera time, I really could do w/o their story lines. This season needs more Lauren and Brody ASAP!

the hills is about nothing. i agree 100% but i can’t front like i don’t watch every monday night. lol!
i don’t know how scripted it is because there isn’t any big plots or big lines for it to be scripted. i think they do shit and then producers will tell them to do it over again if they didn’t get to tape it but seriously??? these girls don’t talk about anything big for it to be scripted…..
it might be tho. this is just my opinion

Perhaps they’re trying to be this generation’s Seinfeld, which was famously lauded as being a show about nothing. Thank goodness I’ve never seen a single episode. It sounds like tv-crack.

I disagree charlize. the hills is the shiznit. So whats its about nuthin. It follows 20 sumthin rich folks..i dont have to watch cnn everyday..i need entertainment…and the hills entertains. Evn their trivial dramas..i sit bak with the popcorn evry week luvin it all.

I love the Hills.
It’s beautifully filmed, the girls are beautiful, and its wonderfully vapid and filled with faux-drama.
It’s also MTV’s highest rated- program to date.
For the life of me I can’t turn the television as soon as that damn Natasha Beddingfield song comes on!

she’s saying it’s a show about nothing… which is true lmao whether you watch it or not we can all agree the show is about absolutly nothing that doesnt make her a hater she’s just telling the truth I watch the Hills when I`m bored I know it’s about nothing but when I`m bored obviously nothing seems to entertain me

Look peeps its as simple as this, you don’t like the show don’t watch it. I don’t like FOX news so everytime im flipping the channel i flip thru it. Obviously people who “hate” the show must love because they watch intently then see fit to be a faux anti comformist and critize it. If you really don’t like what your seeing, no meaning, whatever the reason flip thru it don’t sit there and criticize cause it makes you look like a hater and someoen who really wants to be one of those girls
