Kat Deluna recently sung the National Anthem at a football game in Dallas, and let me just say that this performance was not so great. Take a look for yourself.

    Jesus lord! is that child tone deaf?….that was horrible..and she had the nerve to try to do all those fancy runs and crap…JESUS TAKE THE WHEEL!!

    I was booing at home my darn self…. that was beyond awful she was off from the very first note… she should have kept it short and not tried to do anything extra to it including singing…. I know it was Hispanic Heritage month/week…. they could have found someone else!!!!

    she was not bad at all they were cheering through the performance they just booed at the end because shes not white

    i actually love kat deluna. i’ve NEVER heard her sound like that live, but i have to agree with JANEE…. she was trying to do too much fancy stuff to make up for being off key. i don’t think she should have gotten booed…. i’ve heard worse but she sounded horrible. i was VERY disappointed….

    I watched that game and I turned the tv down because I was shame for her. The crowd was wrong for cheering on certain parts, making her think she was getting better.LOL

    She should have kept it simple. Runs are not her friend. Good thing Cassie was never asked to sing…LAWD! LOL

    LMAO!!!!!….Her record label should drop her ASAP!!! She is No Whitney, Mariah, Beyonce or anything…how could she just go embarass herself with all those runs!!!

    She deserved that boo..I was wincing all thoughout that performance!

    i didn’t even watch when she sang it. i just saw it on msn and i kept having to pause because i was so EMBARRASSED for her!!

    Aw,that was so sad.The crowd should’t have booed even though her voice isn’t good for the national anthem.Good luck to her cuz that was infront of the whole country.

    I really dnt thnk it was as bad as people makin it out 2 b, she can def sing, she jst did a few more runs than needed-O well, no one should boo the NATIONAL ANTHEM! … it was ok- tho

    It really wasn’t that bad. I’ve heard bad and I don’t think that was it. She’s new to the industry and she was trying a bit hard to make her stamp with National Anthem. She really has a great voice, and sounds really nice when she just sings smoothly. May be it was the too many runs that did her in.

    Her voice isn’t bad it’s just that she was shouting through the whole thing, anyone can shout – can we get some singers? please??

    I didn’t think it was that bad! I think she did a couple adlibs in places where she should have carried the tune, but it wasn’t horrible.

    Someone said where is Christina? Look her National Anthem up, and you will be booing as well..

    The best National Anthems to date was performed by Beyonce & Whitney(Beyonce is my favorite)

    She sang our national anthem as if she was at a beer joint in Harlem.
    Please, with a voice like hers, she needed to keep it simple, clean and to the point, and ENUNCIATE! She only gets points for even attempting to stand in front of thousands of people and sing such our national anthem. This is not for the weak. Get more voice lessons girl and wow them in a couple of years. You can do it Kat!

    She was a PURE MESS!!!!!!!!! people who dont know how to sing thinks it wasnt bad. but us singers know… She switched keys a few times and played herself when she was trying to fun. HATED IT! Could have been nerves, however your a artist you get over your fears quick. That was her moment for all the world to see and boost her career that much further and she blew it.

    First and foremost It has nothing to to with her not being white. Secondly they booed Rosanne Barr Remember? She needs to stay in the studio where they can continue to alter her voice. Maybe if she didn’t try so hard to sound ethnic and add some “soul” into the song, then maybe she would have been ok. There will be other games just not major games like Dallas.
