NO ONE sing is better than Etta. Christina puts too much woooooahhhhhhh, ahhhhhhh, yeahhhhhh crap into every song. Get’a annoying. All her songs sound the same. At least Beyonce kept the song “real”.

Beyonce did the song the best. Christina’s tone was better but she did too much changing to the song. Some songs you do not mess with so Beyonce gets it.

I love my sister Beyonce…but Christina was better MINUS all the runs..that wasnt necessary. IF she would have just sang it straight like Beyonce…it would have been amazing. But if you want to compare their versions to Etta James….Christina has a much raspier voice than Beyonce (who’s very smooth) so Christina’s voice suited the song better. But no doubt…Beyonce did a great job

Bey’s was nice. She performed it well, but there was little emotion or soul. It was really safe. I’ve seen/heard better from her; especially for live performances. Christina takes this hands down. Etta would have never gotten on stage and just performed. She would have knocked it out of the park just like Christina did.

Christina took that crown. You could feel passion in her voice. Beyonce acted out the song so it felt fake. They are both excellent but Christinas song made me get outta my seat. I got a little bored watchin Bey’s preformance.

Beyonce can not be compared to Mariah,Whitney,Deborah Cox,Celine Dion,Patti Labell, Aretha Franklin..Because she has made it clear that her voice is one to be desired, just as these ladies. I love Christina, and think her voice is undeniable, but she is something we have heard before. You hear Beyonce sing, and it’s like, you can’t place her in a genre or place her against another singer, because she is a league of her own. That’s what it means to be a true vocalist. To have a style that is going to be replicated for years to come. Beyonce could have taken it home with the “Dangerously In love” adlibs, or went for the “Flaws & All” notes, or even took it one octave up to “happy Face ” G4, she decided to remain classy! This is a elgant song that dosen’t call for too much!!!1!1

Someone should have showed Beyonce the video of Christina sing it so she could change the song to something else. Nobody brings that song like Christina. It’s like she reached deep into the black pot of church soul music and washed herself in it. Her version was 500% better and it still gives me chills!

Christina has performed ‘At Last’ many, many times at her concerts. If you go to You Tube, then you will see that Christina gives the song the feeling it was meant to give. No one can sing it like Etta (may Mary J, because she has a raw & soulful sound), but the feeling that Etta gives the song, is the same feeling Christina gives the song. Beyonce did a good job, but Christina did a better one. And I’m fans of both.

Also, I’m not one of Christina white fans either Ms. Haley.

I like both versions. I think Christina has a little more range than beyonce but at times does over do it..they both do really…but in any event… other than Etta’s version, I really love Tina Moore’s version. Her voice is amazing..she has a similar style to early Whitney…I wish she was still singing…check her out…
It’s more laid back but she sings it so dern purty….LOL

okay, b switched the versions around which was a good idea. the one he had up of x-tina yesterday was not a good version. this is the one i was talking about that she did during her stripped tour and i still think she KILLED it. i’m a bigger fan of x-tina personally and i loved the way she sang it a lot better but i still like beyonce’s version given the fact that she still only added a little bit of her own style to it and kept it simple. she looks hot in that wig too. lol! i love both versions but i still like x-tina better. just my opinion……..

CHRISTINA hands down!!!!!!! I love me some B, however her performace was rather boring and very much staged. Christina’s put her own flare on the song and felt the lyrics she sang. All the runs and extra-that’s her. Some may not like it, but that’s her style and the girl has amazing talent! B’s performance was all right, I just wish she would’ve put more into it and felt the words and not just sang them-it was boring.

they both sounded a mess. Sorry, but they are doing way too much. they both do too many runs or vibrato. why dont they sing? Runs through a whole song do not make a singer. Christina and that yeyeyeyeyeyeyeye sun gets on my nerves! thats the only run she knows?I rather have someone sing the song and do one or too runs that are like wow and standout. when u do too much it looses the effect of what u r tryin to do.

However Beyonce stuck with songs original style and elegance which is the reason this song was so popular. No hard feeling for Xtina however Beyonce executed the song perfectly by not adding all the rifts and runs which we all know she has the ability to do.

BEYONCE’S version. most definitely. Don’t get me wrong, both these women have spectacular voices. but the song is meant to be soulful.. with a tint of humble i guess you could say.. but it’s a soft song.. beyonce had much more simple, sultry, classic soul.. as opposed to Christina’s more church choir song.. Christina changed the song up much more.. and put more of her into it.. while beyonce was MUCH more classic with it. loved them both though! ^_^

well none of the versions are even remotely close to the original, so I can’t base my opinion on who emulated the original version. Based on the performance, I say chrissy. She kept me more engaged and entertained. Honestly, I didn’t finish watching the Beyonce one because I grew bored. I was all into christina’s performance, mostly because I wanted to know wtf she was laughing at.
