September 8, 2008 Beyonce Performs “At Last”!
Beyonce was looking for actors and actresses to appear in her upcoming music video “I’m Just A Boy” from her upcoming album. Filming will start this Thursday and end next Sunday in New York City. This is very exciting – I am very excited! I am so stoked to hear her song. Where is Christina A. when you need her. Instead of Beyonce trying to do a rendition of Etta James, she should have gone with Christina’s rendition of ‘At Last’. And this is coming from a Beyonce fan. I think the critics are right, they should’ve chose someone else to play Etta James, because if this is what’s in store, Etta is NOT getting her just due.

She looked amazing and sounded amazing!! Go B!! It washer own spin on it and Christina’s version was way too much oohs and ahhs, but she cansing as well. Cant wait to see the whole performance

uh that was a big noooooooooooooooooo. let it be said people that beyonce cannot sing everything (well, let me be more specific) she can sing anything she damn well pleases but that doesn’t mean that she sounds good all the time. the only person to ever funk this song other than the great etta james herself was Christina Aguilera. Beyonce needs to go sit down with that stupid wig. I mean what is that really?

Why are you people so jealous of this woman???? She sounds GREAT!!!! And thats why sooo many people are talking about this performance and how she knocked it out of the ballpark!?! Yeah exactly. Haters will always hate, especially when the person they hate on is always doing the damn thing.

Wow, people REALLY needs to stop hating on Beyoncé, because she sang very well, I can’t wait to hear more. Christina A. can SING but, I believe Beyoncé can REALLY pull this off. Go Bee!

B’s a decent singer, but she ain’t got the sass nor the voice to carry this classic. The only person in the world who probably does (and this really pains me to say it) is Christina Aguilera.
