Remember the interview that I had with Teairra Marì and she mentioned a little about what she went through with Jay- Z and Roc-A-Fella? Well Jay-Z clears the record on his end after Teairra’s interview with the current issue of XXL magazine.
“As far as Foxy or Teairra Marì, these are people that I have given chances to. It’s understandable that they would be upset, but you got to look at it from my point of view as well,” Jay-Z told AllHipHop.com. “I gave Teairra Marì the same shot I gave Rihanna. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t…You know that stuff is going to happen, eventually it’s going to happen,” Jay-Z told AllHipHop.com. “What I’m happy about is, that no matter what people say, no one has ever said that I am dishonest or that I have taken one dime from them…I’ve never cheated anyone out of a dime. I will say this, if someone gives you the opportunity to make a better life for yourself and you don’t make the most of it, you can’t blame them. Both Teairra Mari and Foxy must of thought that they were Memphis Bleek or something. Jay can’t hold everybody down.

I think Foxy and Teairra are biter. Especially Teairra, her and Rihanna were in the same boat and if people liked Rihanna more and she sold more then so be it, get over it.

I think that Jay z was being a businessman and what he is saying makes perfect sense. He gives everyone the same shot and its up to u to score that free throw! He could have told Tierra to her face that she was let go, if a father figure relationship was what they had. Now Foxy is another story! Come on u pop off anybody and most of the time its uncalled for! Nobody wants to be associated with that negative shit! He cant control the way u carry urself and if he does not portray himself that way, why would he condone the way you act?

Jay-Z says he gave Rihanna and Teairra Marì the same chances, but if you look at the type of songs Teairra Marì was given the the types of songs Rihanna was given you can’t really compare the two. From the start Rihanna was given more pop/crossover tracks where Teairra Marì was given songs about her not having a daddy while she was growing up and that’s why she’s wild.

ok ok…you can say jay did her wrong but how? he gave them both the same chance the came out at the same time. yes there are two different acts but if everyone doesnt remember jay was endorsing teirra the whole time as princess of the ROC…she was handed everything. she had sometging extra. jay doesnt choose the songs hes not a&r ask ty ty or jay brown. dont blame jay for the music direction. its her fault she didnt run wit it. think hard and remember rihanna was giving no love until she had to prove herself as an artist getting played on the radio…plus its also the ppl in ur camp, they both dont have the same camp as jay.think about that. nobody paid my girl rihanna no attention it was all anout teirra marie the princess of the ROC. just bc rihanna stepped out of her shadow teirra whats be mad…shut and do something about it get in the studio and create a hit…stop blaming other ppl.

Well you know what i kinda agree with Jay-z then i kinda don’t because maybe he did give them the same chance but he couldve acted different about it. know what i mean? and where human that’s what we do is blame people me seriously i think he should have kept T and F so just in case Rhianna takes a break they can make some music and songs, but we can’t be like oh she selfish she just lying and hating on Rhianna because to tell you the truth Rhianna isn’t all that i can’t really relate to hear and i can relate to T . to me Rhianna only made 3 good songs that’s so ii think he should have kept her but thats me
