August 6, 2008 Movie Review: Step Brothers & The Mummy

Love muffins, over the weekend I watched Step Brothers and The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. I was anticipating Step Brothers to be some monkey doodle foolishness but it wasn’t! I was rolling with laughter from the beginning to the end. Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly were great in their characters. There is one part where Will and John’s character are arguing and Will whips out his balls and wipes them on the drums. So hilarious! Of course this is not recommended for children. Rihanna’s Covers “Doowop (That Thing)”!

Several weeks ago, Rihanna performed several cover songs at MTV ‘Italia’s Mobile Bang’ concert. Among her cover songs included Lauryn Hill’s “Doowop (That Thing)”, Beenie Man’s “Who I Am” and M.I.A. “Paper Planes”. Rihanna rocks, be sure you pay careful attention to what she does with the mic towards the end of the performance! Thoughts?

New Music: Solange – T.O.N.Y

Solange’s new album SoL-Angel & The Hadley Street Dreams is just weeks away and I am too excited. I have loved almost every track that leaked from her album thus far! B.
