August 27, 2008 Britney Not Performing At VMA!
Love muffins, as much as I wanted Britney Spears to perform at the VMA, it was a good choice for MTV not to put Britney on the stage again this year.
“Contrary to media reports, Britney was never slated to perform on this year’s VMAs,” Larry Rudolph, Spears’ manager at Jive Records, said in a statement. “She’s in the middle of recording her next album, which is going amazingly well, and her focus remains on the studio.” News. Yahoo
But I am happy to hear that she is in the recording studio working on her urban inspired album. Hopefully this one will be much better then the last. Thoughts?

I could have sworn she was on a VMA commercial pretty much saying that she would perform. Ah well.

I don’t think she’s ready. Still looks a mess. It would be a shame to put her up there again when she’s not ready. She needs to come back with a bang, get her body tight and her dancing back on point.

I thinks its good she’s not performing again this year. Whether she does good or bad, people r gonna knock her anyway. She is more then welcome 2 come perform for me privately anytime tho. LUV U BRIT BRIT!!! Ur da fukkin shyt!!!

i was listening to Stronger today…and now after seeing this post…I dont care when she comes back but she MUST redeem herself from the horrifying performance of VMAs 2007(because before that performance…to me she was the best VMA performer in recent times)…and she should open with Stronger!!!!
