During The ‘Pepsi Smash Exclusive’ Cover Art, Jesse McCartney decided to switch from his pop sound and redo T-Pain’s R&B hit single “Buy You A Drank”. I don’t know, I think I prefer the original version over Jesse’s version. Thoughts?

I really liked this. He put his own spin on it and his voice really suits the song. Who would’ve thought Jesse would pull this off so well? Good job!!

I like the direction he’s going in. A lot of acts come out R&B and go pop – but he’s doing the opposite LOL. Now really though, I appreciated the performance because it was honest and well done.
It reminds me of what Mandy Moore did with “Umbrella”

I think he did good. He didn’t mess it up at all. I think that people who don’t like it probably don’t because he’s so cute, and doesn’t have that raw edge like T-Pain, but he did a good job. He’s a little cutie…

The difference between T-Pain and Jesse, is that Jesse is actually a singer, and doesn’t need all the audio adjustments that Mr.Pain does lol
