August 24, 2008 Gun Pulled On Diddy!
Early Saturday morning while riding down the Sunset Strip, Diddy’s car didn’t have proper tags so of course the car was pulled over by police officers. Nowadays, more then one cop car is at the scene once someone is pulled up. However, three additional cop cars decided to drive on the scene.
Backup arrived and the driver of the second car became “extremely uncooperative,” to the point he had to be detained. At that point, Diddy and the remaining five or six members of the entourage got out of their cars and began walking toward the detained member of their posse. That’s when one deputy drew his weapon, not knowing what the dudes were up to. We’re told at the time the weapon was drawn, deputies did not know Diddy was part of the group. TMZ
Now come on Diddy, you know not to get our of your car and walk towards the cops after you were just pulled over. Common sense. Some police officers are trigger happy. However, because the car was a rental, the driver of the vehicle did not receive a ticket. Thoughts?

The story I read on TMZ said there were multiple cars in Diddy’s entourage and his was not even the one that was stopped. The cop called for backup because he was suddenly confronted with 3 stopped vehicles when he only pulled over one. On top of that occupants of the other cars were approaching him. Diddy is lucky he didn’t get shot.
