August 22, 2008 Solange & Michelle Performed!
Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z were spotted by the City Hall Park to support Solange Knowles and Michelle Williams as they performed at the J & R MusicFest Concert Series in New York on Thursday. Ya’ll better do that! Solange recently premiered her 2nd single “Sandcastle Disco”, but hopefully she will release a video for the amazing “ChampagneChronikNightcap” song. That is my jam! I was there B. Scott!! The crowd booed Michelle (she was awful, but cute). The best thing about her act was her back up dancers who were scrumptious! Terrence Howard? What can I say? He’s a damn good actor, but not much of a singer, though the concept of his album is great. I didn’t stick around for Solange because the previous acts were so bad, plenty of people left when I did and throughout the show. And guess what? It was FREE and people still complained and left in a huff. They played Solange’s album in between acts and her music is the BOMB! People were dancing and grooving! It’s the best music I have heard in a long time. I’m gonna cop Solange’s album as soon as it comes out, maybe two copies, it will be a classic and you heard it from me first.

Dude, I’ve seen Michelle before live and i completely understand why they boo’d her ass. her live sound can best be described by the great Bill Cosby, “like what’s heard after somebody that rolled over 12 cats’ tails with a rocking chair.” She needs to stick to gospel and a low register, and lip synching. B.Scott baybee, feed ya girl! she’s looking hongry! EW!
I like the songs that I’ve heard from Solange’s album, but again it all sounds sooooooo FAKE! like she’s trying to do something TRYING to be sooooo different. I want her to find her “some kinda”[thanks dwele] and showcase that. she used to say she was a “reggae chick” [that's y she couldn't tour with avril], now she’s channelling the dreamsn’n’ supremes. I think Matthew is ho’in her out and keeps trying to reinvent that $!
she won’t ever be as successful as B because she’s not doing her own thing. say what you will Beyonce championed a uniqe hippop r&b sex thang that everybody’s dying to master. there’s something else in Solange that’s dying to come out.

I love how on every other blog it just says like Beyonce, Beyonce, Beyonce like she is a GOD. Jay-Z was there too, looking mighty fine If I might add, and he is so nice to follow behind Beyonce’s fake ass just to geta glimpse pf the camera so they can take pics. Jay obviously isn’t there for the camera. Gotta love them:)

I have seen Michelle live and I lived for her I will be getting her album and maybe 2 because she is hot as well as Solange
