As you know John Edwards is a nasty gutter butt trollop! The once presidential hopeful had an affair and now more news has dropped!
According to the National Enquirer: One day before he revealed his affair with Rielle Hunter on ABC Nightline, John Edwards reportedly flew his mistress and her baby daughter (rumored to be his as well) to the Virgin Islands on a $50,000 chartered Lear jet paid for by Edwards’ colleagues. Rielle loves the luxuries of being a mistress. Some of the perks include an off-duty police officer who guards her home, thousands of dollars to remain silent and so much more! To add to the craziness it was also reported that John Edwards and Ms. Hunter slept with each other the very first night they met. I’m sure that there is much more to this story than we’ll ever know!

Has it ever occured to anybody that hife is probably okay with this? I mean…it is not un-common for a woman facing a life threatening illness to allow her husband to have a mistress most of this time, usually, because she has lost the need or ability to have relations (sex for the lurkers). I have an uncle who went through this. Not the baby momma ish, but his dying wife encouraged him to find someone else because she knew she going to die.
Just a thought.

I personally believe that marriage is a sacred thing. Regardless of his wife’s acceptance and whatever other reasons/excuses he can come up with, its wrong.
Stuff like this really bothers me. Politicians sit and say marriage is between a man and woman and that its sacred and that gay marriage is wrong – and at the same time they’re cheating on their wives, and/or sneaking around with other men themselves.
I’m tired of every politician cheating on their wife! It’s getting old and it’s making america look very bad in other countries. I think politicians forget that they work for us and that they are supposed to be portraying and living up to a certain image. Not that everyone is perfect, but they shouldn’t be that bad.
So in short… John Edwards IS a NGT. Done.

Oh why oh why cant he just be a man for once and fess up to the truth. The guilt is written all over his face this makes me sick. I feel sorry for this baby who’s pic are everywhere on the national enquire and on tv how is she going to feel when she grows up to know that she was born out of an affair. I disagree with the media by showing this poor baby face that has nothing to do with this

I usually agree with you, B. But I think you’re wrong for calling him a “nasty gutter butt trollop”. Yes, he had an affair and that’s something his family and wife have to deal with, not us! It’s not our business just because he’s a politician. At the end of the day, this doesn’t change all the great things he’s done for the disadvantaged, elderly, etc. And, if you’re going to talk about him and his character, let’s talk about John McCain. Edwards’ wife’s cancer was IN REMISSION! McCaine, however, left his DYING WIFE ON HER DEATH BED for his current (”formerly”) drug addicted, criminal record having wife just because she’s rich. And, from what’s been said about the mistress, she slept with every man of power on that campaign, so any one of them could be her baby daddy (one already admitted to it). I believe that he’s no longer with her. Treat it like Bill Clinton. Hilary forgave him and she had to live with him, so why does the rest of the US’s opinions matter? And like Bill, give it a few years no one will even remember this little marital indiscretion.
