August 18, 2008 Ian Says No To 90210!
As the premiere of the new 90210 debuting on the CW nears, more of the original stars are saying no to a return. Tori Spelling just backed out of it due to issues with her salary. Now Ian Ziering who made the part of Steve Sanders famous is saying no also.
“It’s not really where my career goals are focused right now,” Ziering told People. “I’m really looking down the line pretty far and this might be a step backwards.” Yahoo
Do you think his role was significant enough to care about his return?

Since the old show and the new one target a younger demographic I don’t think the new fan base will care if they are there or not. The thing that kills me about them turning down the roles is that they are not doing much else. I guess they made enough money in the past not to worry about it.

LMAO NO.
Steve sucked when Brandon left.
what sucks is they wont give Tori enough money to come back. I’m mad cause as a old time fan I wanted to see Donna,Kelly and Brenda back on the same scene.

Something must be up with that show. I think this is his nice way of saying that he wasn’t pleased with what was presented to him. This show is on the CW. Most of thier shows aren’t over the top, so maybe this had something to do with it. That’s two people now who have rejected the new show. There may be something to this…

His role was barely significant enough for me to post this comment.
