July 29, 2008 We Just Had A 5.8 Magnitude Earthquake!

Love muffins we just had a 5.8 magnitude earthquake here in the Los Angeles area! Jesus take the wheel, that scared me so much!

    Is everything okay? I just heard about it on the news and I was like omg… I knew it would be sooner or later before L.A. had an earthquake but not at a 5.8 magnitude!

    I haven’t been to this site in a few months, life has just been busy, but when I saw this on the news I thougth to my self, I have to check out if B Scott is OK! Glad that you are, be careful and lots of love!!!

    I’m glad you are ok. This must have been your first quake since moving to LA. I know how scarey that must be. I moved to Atlanta from NY and a month later a tornado blows through downtown Atlanta. I watched CNN and couldn’t belive what I was seeing.All I could do was sit and be still. They have alot of storms and tornado watches down here. I don’t think i can ever get use to that.During a storm my grandmother (bigmama) always said be still and let the lord do his work; then she would cover all the mirrors in the house. I think she still does.

    Scared me to death! Then the phones didnt work for like 10 – 15 mins here in Long Beach.

    I’m thankful it wasn’t a bigger one. Could have been so much worse. Thank God we all are safe.
