Ne-Yo decided to do his version of his hit song “Take A Bow” performed by Rihanna, and honestly I prefers Rihanna’s version. Yes, he changed the lyrics, but Rihanna wins it for me. Which version would you rather jam to? Special thanks to That Grape Juice for the track!

Wow, Ne-Yo should have left that alone. “Take a Bow” was just fine the way he wrote it the first time. *sigh*

I totally agree with ya B, Rihanna wins it for me! Neyo’s version is pretty cool, BUT he must take a bow. (Yeah i just came up with tht, lol sorry.)

Ne-Yo is like an overpossessive father. Dammit man, write the songs and enjoy the money. Leave the remixes and rewrites alone. You got it right the first time.

I liked it…the sound of the live band gave it a little something extra…there is nothing wrong with him wanting to do his own version of the songs HE wrote…he did a great job.

Well, he did write the lyrics to Take a Bow and to Irreplaceable, so I guess he feels that he can do what he wants to his songs. But I agree that Rihanna has this hands down!

I hate songs where the man is begging. That’s just so weak to me. A rewrite is cool; especially since it’s his song, but I would have preferred him defending himself.
