Sarah Vaughan is, in my opinion, the greatest vocalist of all time. Her range and musicality was incredible. She was never off key and could scat like a horn player…funniest thing is that you’d would think she’d be really focus on stage, but apparently her mind was elsewhere, thinking things like “What should I cook for supper” while singing ” Misty” or some other serious ballad!

This video never gets old. She built this song up to the end and tears will flow if you have a soul. By the end of the song you want those clowns to come in and cheer you up.
