July 23, 2008 New Video: Khia – Be Your Lady
Khia recently released her new music video “Be Your Lady” from her album Nasti Musik. My first thoughts were, “What the hell kind of trump foolery is this”?! Khia really needs to go back and sit down somewhere to reevaluate her music career, because if selling sex is her best option, she couldn’t give me her CD for free. This video probably cost less then a value meal at McDonald’s. Thoughts?

No seriously though people seem to not like Khia, I love her she is so funny and entertaining to watch. The fact that she has no record label but manages to keep being in demand I think is worthy of a pat on the back. Yes I think she has to growing to do but I don’t think she is half as bad as people say she is.

First I want to say crack is whack, and second I guess she felt that since now she’s in her house shooting her video instead of outside in her backyard(my neck, my back), she has upgraded, WRONG!!! >>>>>>>>>>NEXT!!!! Reevaluating her music career?? I would say more of a make-over, actually no I take that back she just need to put the music career to rest, the funny thing about her is she always has sumthing to say about a lot of people in the music industry including Trina, as well as the Legendary Janet Jackson again >>>NEXT!!

Khia is a real chic who is her own person. Sure she doesn’t look like Ashanti or Beyonce and she didn’t spend millions on getting this video made. I agree with Timberland. She’s got a fanbase and she is still in the game. She’s being sexy in her video so what? Most women use their sexiness on some level.

I’m not a die hard Khia fan, but I have to give it to her, the girl is persistent…and if I had a man that I truly adored, I would be “that chic” as well! The song grew on me…can’t be any worse than what’s on radio now… I think Khia is pretty as well…

my problem is not that she’s trying to be sexy. she’s got the right to do whatever makes her feel sexy no matter what others say. the video was just blahhh. there wasn’t anything to it . she didn’t even rap ( which IMo she can do rather well).

is this a joke? I’m actually angry at this video. Aside from the gratuitous boobies, just think about the message that this song is sending to girls all over the world! “you have to cook ad clean and have huge tits to get a man.” It’s astounding to me that songs like these can even get made without radical feminists (they must exist) letterbombing khia’s house.
