July 21, 2008 ‘The Dark Knight’ Is Unstoppable!
It was no surprise The Dark Knight blew its competition out of the water! Debuting with over $155 million tickets sold, this is the highest debut to date this year. The Dark Knight was very different from the second Batman movie with Jack Nicholson, very gritty. In my eyes, Heath Ledger was a better joker than Jack Nicholson only because I felt the pain more. Jack was more of a jokester – more into playing games, while Heath was more of a psychotic killer. Without giving too much away the movie is centered around Batman not being wanted by the public anymore and how he should be punished for the laws that he has broken while trying to save the city from criminals. Heath was such a wonderful actor. His talent will be missed.

i agree. the movie met all of my expectations. heath was AMAZING. i am definitely going to see it again on IMAX, its worth the price of the ticket!!

I agree also. Dark Knight was splendiferous. Heath Ledger was simply amazing. He’s a delightful talent who is gone too soon. He stood out and shone in every scene but not at the expense of his fellow actors.

that movie STILL gives me goosebumps it was so damm good… I waited in line for that movie for 3 HOURS and that was just for a seat.. I swear dark knight was the only movie they played all Saturday

This MASTER PIECE has to be one of the best movies I have saw in a long time!! It was great I went to see it 3 times..(I know thats a bit much to some) but this movie was just sooo soo good. I was so pleased with it and heath….oh my god heath…I dont even think that was heath..that was somebody else..because that joker was…im lost for words..but if you havent saw this MASTER PIECE yet..hurry up and go right now! Also I think the $155 million was just an estiment it actually did $158 million
