July 18, 2008 K-Fed Gets Sole Custody!
Britney Spears has agreed to give full custody to her ex-husband Kevin Federline while she will be just fine with visitation rights.
According to the agreement signed by all parties, Federline gets sole legal and physical custody of sons Sean Preston and Jayden James and Spears will have visitation rights. “The case has been settled,” Kaplan said. “The court still has to approve it. ” Both parties are due in court Friday morning. “As of this evening there is a fully executed deal memo…All the issues that would have been addressed at trial have been settled,” Kaplan told E! News. “Can’t speak to the exact terms of the deal. Orders in place…will stay in place.”
It’s good to hear that both Britney and Kevin were able to come to a settlement on everything. I think it is a good decision. Britney needs to continue to take care of herself until she is fully capable of taking care of two small children. Thoughts?

At first i wanted her to have her kids back and leave him in the dust… but if she feels like she needs more time to heal and be fully recovered then im happy for her… maybe now since she will have some time to get better and focus on her career again and be stronger for her kids, family , friends , and of course her fans… I think she is going the right way with this one… Great Job Britney!!!!

I’m not sure what to say. But the life God gives me the power to bring into this world, they can/will only get rip from me when I’m dead. As a child (your children) is/should be like an organ in ones body “you just can’t live with it/them”.

All’s I’m saying is…I’m glad that Britney can take better care of herself, but…geez if Kevin didn’t lay his game down quite flatly from the beginning. She’s going to be paying him big money for those children for the next decade and some change…all puns intended!

this is truly sad. she didn’t even fight for her kids. she has no motherly instinct. she is such a self absorbed person. just so self centered. she has all the time in the world to rip and run the streets partying and drinking it up. that bitch. poor kids.

People, people, people! It’s not about her paying him money or her allegedly not fighting for the kids (I say allegedly because the would’ve been going to court if she wasn’t at first) or having no “motherly instincts”. Maybe she felt she needed to focus on taking care of herself before she could take care of her kids. I mean, since she started with the erratic behavior, she hasn’t seemed like the best mother to her kids and maybe she realizes that. Applaud her for getting herself and her life together for her and her kids sake instead of bashing her.
