Keri Hilson stopped by MTV’s TRL on Monday in a striped top and pink hot shorts. But I have to ask you this – are you a fan of Keri’s mushroom shaped hairstyle? I think Keri has a freshness that this music industry needs, but something about her hair just makes me want to throw some peppers, tomatoes, and onions into a bowl to create a dinner dish – mushrooms belong on a plate of food and not on someone’s head! This style went out in the 90s and some trends should not be revisited like those damn Hammer pants. Thoughts? View more pictures after the jump –

OMG. She and Hoopz would make great twin sisters. Hell even LaLa, Carmelo’s baby mother, would even be in the running. But I agree the hairstyle takes me back to the 90s something terrible but I have seen worse.

I love it…it definitely works for her…and the mushroom style isn’t from the 90’s, it’s from the 70’s…get it right.

I absolutely adore Keri Hilson, and the hair style fits her. Now for some other stars to wear this I might think differently, but she is working it!

I think the style is definitely suitable and versatile enough for her. Definitely compliments her features. However I hate the outfit she wore.

KR: Keri, Hoopz, & LaLa could all pass for sisters! lol I just thought about the resemblance.
But I think it works for her. Not many other people would be able to rock it, but it looks pretty nice on her! I just think the color doesn’t fit, I liked the brownish color she had better.

I think this style works for her. She has the face that can pull it off, also it doesn’t hurt to be one of the few people rockin’ an old style. Kudos to Keri!!!

It’s just not very versatile. She can’t do much with it. I’ve seen her with this same hairstyle for months it seems. But hey, whatever floats her boat is cool with me. Keri Hilson is fresh!
