July 1, 2008 NKOTB To Record With New Edition?!
For those of you love muffins who are a little too young to know what NKOTB stands for, it is New Kids On The Block. They were an extremely popular boy band that came to their height in the early 90’s. Not to be compared to the mid 80’s sensation of the model of all boy bands, New Edition. Both groups are very…mature now and NKOTB has come out with a new song for the “Summertime”, entitled just that. Now it looks like there could be a collaboration on the New Kids’ new album. We’ll see how this turns out. Are you excited to see a collaboration with the two yesteryear mega bands?

I don’t want to see them record together to be quite honest….Now, what I wanna see is New Edition come out with something new. The need to just wipe Bobby down and gather all six members together and record something.

I love NKOTB and was excited about them getting back together after 15 years. But the collabo with NE??? I don’t think so, they appeal to two totally different audiences. I love New Kids and New Edition, but I think it would be a mistake.

Hi Guys,
I just finished listening to that young singer Nasri on MYSPACE and his music is so great. He is actually behind the NKOTB comeback. He wrote the song “click click click”, “Close to you” and co-wrote “ summertime ” with Donnie. He also is working on some other songs with the group according to the NKOTB website. Here’s the link I found.
