i mist admit, i really do like this….its a simple muscial treat….their voices sound really good together…and as many changes micheals face has endured, its great to know his voice hasnt…this can easily be a worlwide hit single….cant wait to hear michaels album when it comes out….i like the route this is taking….GO HEAD MIKE AND AKON…ITS A GOOD LOOK

With all of the controversy surrounding poor, talented, odd MJ, why would anyone feature him in a song entitled “Hold my Hand.” My apropos would be “Don’t freakin touch me, just stand over there and sing.” Maybe I’m being too cruel. I mean, I really do love MJ. His last album, Unbreakable is one of my all times favorites, along with Dangerous. I just don’t know. But it is kind of cool to see the contrast of Akon’s black-as-night face against Michael’s white-as-snow! Well, the song sounds OK. I won’t be hitting iTunes for it anytime soon!

@ Oliver- yes I think you’re being a bit silly. Those accusations made in the past are just that, accusations. Nobody can really say whether they were true or not. Regardless, Michael’s personal issues shouldn’t affect judgment of his music. But I digress . . .
I personally enjoy the song. Their voices go well together and it is refreshing to hear MJ’s voice over a new track. I love it! Let’s hope that whatever contributions Akon makes to MJ’s new album will be just as good if not better than this.
Perhaps a taste of what is to come?

ya know.. as much as i heard about michael an the molestation cases.. i disliked him very highly but i tell ya.. when i heard this song on my friends myspace page.. i just cant stop listenin to it.. very touchy.. i said i highly disliked mj.. but for this song wit akon.. i can give him high props for this..
