June 25, 2008 Stars At The BET Awards ‘08!
First off, I want to say…did you see me on television?! B. Scott was on TV at the BET Awards ‘08! Let me calm down now. The stars came out and they all looked splendiferous! Usher performed “Love In This Club”, but I think he could have done better. Chris Brown won the award for Best R&B Artist – you already know he was seated next to his girl Rihanna. Speaking of Chris Brown, did you catch the performance he did with Ciara for “Take You Down”? They did that! Keyshia Cole and Lil’ Kim hit the stage to perform “Heaven Sent” and “Let It Go”. Keyshia forgot some of her words, but she still did her thing. Alicia Keys looked divine as she arrived in a cute pink ensemble – I love those shoes! She brought girl power back by bringing SWV, En Vogue, and TLC to the stage during her performance! Pure hotness! Solange worked the red carpet in her animal print sandals – splendiferous! I had a great time at her 22nd birthday party – she knows how to party! My girl Jordan made me lose my breath in her red ensemble. Cassie showed off her legs. the ciara and chris brown performance was HOT!! usher was “OK”..it seems like he dont have the energy he once had and the fact that he lip sync THE WHOLE SET was wack!! at least Mr. Brown did live vocals(up until he performed Take You Down). To me the highlight was Alicia bringin back the 90’s with the girl groups! I SEE YOU SWV, EN VOGUE and TLC

OMG bscott. i so saw u.. i was like thts my dude b scott… Ur hair looked fierce….U had on like a lil tan vest … I was like i wish i had ur number so i could text that i seen u….lmao..i totally agree tht usher’s performance was yucky..atleast for me…not to open up though…rihanna really did her thing she has grown so much as an artist…any who…love ya b scott and i jus wanted to tell u that i seen u lookin sexy on BET…lol

i didnt get to se b.but then again i really wasnt paying attention because i thought the show was wacfk..usher need to be ashamed of hisself with that performance..my boo keyshia cole..im just disappointed then she bought that plastic barbie out who couldnt even fit in her clothes..but the show did get a little better after ne-yo,alicia keys fire!!!!,chris brown-damn him and ciara(applauds)
and what the hell were they thinking having dl hugley hosting he is not funny….

I think the show was ok. Usher didn’t have to lip sync the whole set. I too was looking to see Ms. B come out for the remix. I’m sorry but Ke Cole’s performance was a TRAVESTY!!!! I’m telling you Lil Kim looks like the blonde thing from The Muppetts. She looks like if she’s left out in the sun to long she will spontaneously combust. I absolutly loved Alicia’s performance. No one can do it better than En Vouge. Chris and Ciara where wonderful & Rhianna did a good job as well. I would like to know if I am the only one who wishes T-Pain will go play in traffic?

i sat in front of my tv taking notes like I was in class…. lol [tv is not next to the computer] anywho here’s my thoughts on the show….
did not see b scott in the audience
gotta go back and rewatch the show….
usher… maybe he wanted his performance to be a mesage to all the other r&b singers out there but he failed MISERABLY!!!! from his lipsyncing but still missing the words to his non dancing…. he was absolute mess… not sure what he was going for but i was HIGHLY disappointed…. could have done without his performance and …
ne-yo…. he was good…. his overall look sound dancing performance went with the song he was singing…. good job… but then again i expected it from neyo…
keisha cole… did she even practice? hot flaming garbage…. and i’m still hella pissed about her mom and sister on the preshow… someone needs to tell them they are not celebrities…. and lil kim…. there are no words…. she should give the weaved one back her hair though…. it’s not working for her….
al green’s tribute…. i don’t know who else performed but maxwell did AMAZING!!!!! al did good too…..lol i screamed when maxwell appeared on stage…. needed a new pair of panties after that….
chris brown…. him and ciara…. not moved…. for ciara to be an established artist it’s pretty pathetic that her only appearance on the show was dry grinding with chris brown… yeah she performed with nelly too but with as much grinding she was doing between the two performances i am sure she picked up a few dollars…. she was twirking it like a strippa… but whatever….
rihanna… thought she did well… not the biggest fan of her performance outfit but she was still good… the cutaways to chris was cute….
t-pain’s performance was ok… but i got hella hyped when luda hit the stage…. i’m so hood remix is one of my songs…. however…. rick ross and his nippage….. i want to throw up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!
lil wayne…. was impressed by him either…. all the talk about him shutting the show down…. a big yawn to me…. the supposed forming of t-wayne i can do without if tonight’s performance was any indication of how they would sound on a track together…
show was a little boring… dl hugley was crappy… and the folks nominated needs to be folks who really deserve it…
btw… what the hell was cassie wearing… it looked like she either forgot her pants or the rest of the fabric for her dress and an iron….

I agree with DrmKpr. Keyshia was a hot mess, u could put a pig in a palace and their still a hot mess. Rihanna and the Alicia set was probably the only ones that sing. Keyshia forgot her words……wdf how the hell can u forget the words too your own song. Lil jim not kim was a hot mess…she need too stop with all that damn plastic shit…she looks like Michael now. The awards were a hot ass mess….seemed very unorganized. Shame on Bet

on usher’s dvd beyonce showed up to dance with usher for his ‘bad girl’ performance. and he did the same in her video for ‘naughty girl.’

YES!!!!!! I was on a live blog on doublekisses.com and someone mentioned that they saw B Scott!! I had to rewind my DVR and there he was in the audience! I was just too excited!!!!!

I missed it, I don’t have cable. So I didn’t see B. But they’ll replay it I’m sure. But Cassie looked good, as usual except for the outfit. Too much, or not enough. But I took a minute to watch some a few of the performances. Keyshia, looked good, but was a true mess. It was all over the place and she didn’t focus on singing, like I think she should have. Rihanna was boring and annoying, but I like her for her tatoos. Chris Brown was aiight, just aiight. All in all, doesn’t look like I missed anything special.

I’m A long time fan who wanted to compliment you on your interview w/ Kandi Burruss. She is great, it’s crazy that BET passed up the chance to have her on the show. It would have been so much realier. I love kandi, and the fact that she is O.K w/ having fun (stripper dances) cause thats what gurls do. we have fun together, being her self and loving the kids. Kids are great, back in the day we all had 5-6 brothers and sisters. Not a lot of $ cause thats not what it takes. They just need luv and support. The bigger the family, the more fun and support. This country has made us scared of having kids when thats the purpose of life somewhat. But anyway she was toooooo cool. I would love to hang out with her. You are so comfy w/ this. I pray that you make it to the top where you belong. We need you on Oprah!!!!!!!!!!! Let strive for that!
