June 17, 2008 Airlines Do It For Their Coins & Dollars!
If you haven’t heard the news about the recent fees for flying – brace yourselves! Airlines across the United States are jacking up the prices for the smallest things and adding prices as well! US Airways is requiring a “first-checked bag fee” of $15! I understand that fuel is high, but why must I be charged for my first bag?! Take me higher lord. B. Scott need to be looking beat for appearances and things, one bag is not going to cut it! They also will be charging for soft drinks ($2 for soda, water, juice and coffee. Alcoholic drinks will increase in price from $5 to $7). Love muffins it’s outrageous, I know, but please don’t let these prices scare you from booking me!

I sooooo feel you on this…I’m like my first bag is shoes only, are you kidding me????? I’m flying out to L.A. later on today and NY later in the summer. I’m an avid traveler and this is not a good look…because I’ll be damned if I drive anywhere!!!!

This crazy….
There is too much competition between the airlines to be doing things like this. Is anyone even devoted to flying one airline? Don’t most people just fly with the company with the cheapest ticket?
Airtran all they way man…not because I’m devoted to them, but because 80% of the time, their tickets are the cheapest.

The oil prices are messing up everything. I got hired as a flight attendant and can’t go to training yet beccause of it. Most new hire training classes have been postponed. What a bummer!!

I heard about this ISH!!!! My mamaFAB had to take extra cash with her to Vegas just in case she got thirsty during the flight! (now you know mama has got to take her medication and things…)

This is some bullsh*t!!! You better just use one carry on and get someone to FedEx the rest of your stuff.
