It is official! Amerie is now signed to Def Jam after months of speculations. Hopefully, Def Jam will promote Amerie the way she should be promoted – everyone will know her name. She will no longer be the underdog anymore. Sources say “she was offered a deal too good to turn down”. You better make that money Amerie! Rihanna became a superstar after her smash hit “Umbrella”, so I hope the same will happen to Amerie. Do you think she will have much better success with this new record label?

Ya know her voice improved from her first album to the 2nd..but I most def got faith in her..as long as she can deliver with the music and she gets the right amount of promo..*Fingers crossed*

yes i am one of her biggest FANS since her first album ALL I HAVE I FELL in love i was a freshmen when it came out awww. till this day i still play I Just Died. then when Touch came out i was XTATIC THAT WAS SUCH A GOOD ALBUM YALL HAVE NO IDEA HOW GOOD IT WAS. the when Because I Love It DROP, I GOT MY ORDER COPY FROM OVER SEAS. ITS HER BEST YET

BAD MOVE. All of there attention goes to Mariah then Rihanna, did she see what they did to Janet and she is an ICON. She needs to go somewhere she will be a priority and thats not Def Jam

I dont know about this label she needs to be careful. The way I ve heard how they treat there artist is not so good. Basicaly they chew them out and spit them out and you never hear from them again. I agree with skorpion she should went under Clive Davis.
