June 13, 2008 R. Kelly NOT Guilty!
CHICAGO (AP) — Singer R. Kelly has been found not guilty on the first 7 of 14 counts at a child pornography trial. The jury deliberated less than a day.Kelly was charged with 14 counts of videotaping himself having sex with an underage girl, who prosecutors say was as young as 13. If convicted, he faces a minimum of four years in prison and a maximum of 15 years. He would also have to register as a sex offender in Illinois.
The jury — nine men and three women — was given the case Thursday.
The key question for the jurors was whether they believe it was Kelly in the video, as prosecutors contend. Kelly’s attorneys say it wasn’t him.

I agree with Kasandra. I think its funny how so many superstars are accused but not convicted! Its weird that allllll of those people who accuse the stars are LIARS! But thats how we do it here in the US of A

How is it this man abused this young girl (she;s not the first btw) and got off. Mike Vick fought dogs and is in jail and still facing other charges…wtf???????? This country’s legal system is corrupt and unjust!!

The problem is, the system finds time to lock up my uncle who’s a bum. He hasn’t hurt anybody. But, my cousin who molested his niece (my second cousin), that I called the police on, didn’t even get locked up. He didn’t get locked up because no one accept me, confirmed that he molested his niece. Everyone was trying to protect him. I’m tired of the real criminals in the black communities getting off. I don’t want to hear any songs from rkelly. I’m sure when he’s talking about sexual things in his songs, he’s talking about young black girls. It’s a damn shame. They need to take this Coon off the radio and tv. He is a disgrace to what a black male is suppose to be. The people who listen to his music and support him (Cheering him on), need to be ashamed of themselves too.

My god! When I saw the word COON from the above poster, I thought, where did THAT come from?!
Anyway… I am angry at the verdict but not terribly surprised, unfortunately. My only wish is that R. Kelly could meet KARMA & quickly! And what would be a more ideal means than to suffer CD sales losses or future tour date cancellations due to poor ticket sales as a result of human outrage?
Because R. Kelly escaped conviction, he undoubtedly won’t see the need to seek professional help for his pedophilia. Therefore, the public can look forward to another scandal igniting soon. Considering he IS 41 & those under-age tender morsels appear that much more desirable.;)
