i work at old navy and i love those metallic ones. the bottom is all flexible and fabulous. even the 2 for $5 ones are decent although the black does rub off a little so i stick to neutrals.

this is why I love you!!! I discovered these flip flops about 2 months ago. I work for Banana Republic so I popped into Old Navy just use my discount. I planned on getting the same old spongey flip flops they sell every year and then found the the $5 ones. I got the camoflauge pair with the black strap (you should get them for J!). I didn’t wear them that much when I first got them but lately,(including today as I went to Target, the mall, and the car wash) I have been wearing them all the time. I had no idea they were made in Brazil. I completely believe your theory. I too, have never bought Havanias either because of the price. but now we both have some! Go us, go us!!!
