Another remixed version for Mariah Carey’s “Bye Bye” has just surfaced and it features Akon and Lil Wayne. Akon sounded like Ray J singing “One Wish” at one point (B. Scott just staring blank at the computer screen). Lil Wayne sounded refreshing on the track. I just wished Mariah would have laid down some different vocals on the track. Thoughts?

I agree, she most def’ should’ve changed up the vocals. Especially since she has so many remixes going on.

i AM READY FOR MIMI TO COME WITH SOMETHING NEW…SOMETHING DIFFERENT, SHE’S HAD THE SAME STYLE SOUND IMAGE SINCE SHE STARTED HER CAREER SHE’S WAY TO TALENTED TO NOT BE VERSATILE. MAYBE MADONNA CAN SHOW HER HOW TO STAY FRESH.

Im sorry but the whole E=MC2 era has been wack. These have been her worst live performances of her career and worst single choices off of the album. Its almost like the major success of Emancipation made her complacent. At least she scored her 18th #1 with Touch My Body. But when its all said and done and the album only sells a little over a million copies in the US she will get back to basics and give us the fire she’s capable of both live and single-wise.
