Love muffins, Amy just doesn’t know when to quit. Recently another video of her surround by drugs has surfaced yet again, and this time it was filmed by her husband Blake Fielder-Civic. And to make matters worse, she was singing racist chants to a children’s song ‘Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes’. When she sobered up, she apologized for the chants. She might have apologized, but that doesn’t mean she really is really sorry. She is probably sorry she got caught saying those things on camera.
“If people could see the real Amy – the full picture, not just the worst photos – they would realize she is not in a constant pit of misery or permanently drug-addled….She’s upbeat -even jolly- and she’s been writing some fantastic new songs. She’s really looking forward to performing again, [her dad] told The People newspaper.
I just don’t have any more sympathy for her. If she truly wanted to kick the habit of drugs, then she would make a REAL effort in doing so. Read the full story at Daily Mail.

aside from a couple alright songs, i have never understood the fascination with this woman. it is as if someONE decided she was the savior of soul and everyone just followed suit. people love to follow what’s “hot”, amy’s music is just another trend. although some of her songs are good lyrically, her voice is awful. please don’t blame it on the crack, it was bad in the beginning.
hopefully she can clean up her act before people realize she’s not as great as they thought.

I agree Candice. I never understood what the big deal was about her in the first place. And drugs have nothing to do with her making racist chants. Like B. said she was just mad cause she got caught.

I will never suport her addiction by uying any of her music or ever seeing a show. Whenever she is announced in the line up, I never tune in. It’s pathetic and sad how this woman is living her life. The place was filthy, her hair looked filthy, and then she sang that awful song….She should be put in jail!

Just because she said “I’m sorry” doesn’t mean she meant it…Mel Gibson said sorry, too. But, no matter what she feels or how I feel about her, I do wish she would clean herself up because she’s a really talented girl. If not for herself, for the people who love her. I know what it’s like to watch someone you love die–my grandmother battled cancer for 10 years and the last year was awful to see. But, to know it’s their own fault is probably worse to handle. I’ll be praying for her and her family.

It’s truly unfortunate because while I prefer to support the true musical talent of Amy Winehouse rather than the manufactured mediocrity that is Rihanna, I don’t want to support the person Amy has decided to be. It’s really a shame because in this pop music wasteland, her voice really stands out.

Okay so I was starting to not really care for her but now she has made it official..lol… I do wish she would clean up her act too because I hate to see people in the spotlight creating such bad views of themselves for young people to look up to….

wow…..i am a amy winehouse STAN but for this fuckery i have no words. I’ll keep praying for her…i dont think she is really racist, and im not picking up for her because that shit was uncalled for and wrong on so many levels, however she gets her style from black folk music such as jazz, blues, soul, hip-hop, etc. so for her to be a racist doesnt make sense to me, but that shit was disturbing and this chick is just becoming more and more wack to me, she needs to get it together and stop the bullshit cuz its getting old now.

i used 2 c amy around and about camden wen she wasnt a big household name. dis gal was soooo normal, nice down 2 earth. she used 2 hang out wit her close friend. i used 2 talk 2 her and chat bout things dat she was gona do in da future and stuff in general. den 1 time in sainsburys (a grocery store), i caught da gal wearin no shoes. WTF? i said ‘amy u kl?’ she said ‘yh, y?’. i den said 2 her ‘im not bein rude or nofing, but y arent u wearin shoes’. den she said ‘well, i just came out da car, and im only poppin in 2 buy sum stuff’. I don’t think Amy is racist, she just saying some dumb shit that is racist, but herself isn’t racist. Her goddaughter is black and her band is black and just listen to her music, she is influenced by black music.
