Rihanna will finally debut her acting skills on the big screen in 2009 for the movie Mama Black Widow. The cast includes Mos Def 16 Blocks, Macy Gray Training Day, Anthony Anderson Transformers, Kerry Washington Mr. and Mrs. Smith, and Brian J. White Stomp The Yard. There are plenty of good actors/actresses in the film, so I hope that it does well.

U noe i usually hold it down for my west indian women but rihanna doesnt soooo….. yea um she just does not seem personable to me at all. shes got this snoody booty attitude that i cannot get over. though she has a great stylist; outside of her looking pretty for a living i dont see much in store for her.

I’m all for singers–wait, entertainers because this broad can’t sing–expanding themselves into other things, but her playing a SOUTHERNER? She can BARELY speak english audibly, how is she gonna pull off a southern drawl? She needs to stick to the hooker outfits, publicity stunt love, and fashionable stylist who dresses her because other than that, what is she?

I heard her on a interview and she speaks well (didn’t hear much of a Caribbean accent) and has a very nice personality. I’d like to see her paired up with Sean Paul (can he act?) and/or Will Smith in a movie set in the Caribbean with a lot of action and a lot of Rihanna/Sean Paul music…yeah!

Just because she speaks in a different accent doest not not mean that she cannot speak english. What about Arnold ‘what’s his name the terminator’ The terminator actor governor or California for the past few years. No one ever complained about him. HMMMMMMM I wonder why. And his accent definitely was very thick. He could not even have constructed a sentence very well grammatically. Yet no complaints there. Rihanna went to a very good school and standard english is the norm in the carribean. In fact her english and grammar and vocabularly is deffinitely better than your joke for a president George Bush.!!!!!!!!!!
