May 30, 2008 Work Your Weekend!
1. Drink This! “Coconut Slush”
If you’re a fan of the furry fruit, then you’ll love this frozen coconut treat.
Ingredients:
3 cups cold water
1 (16-ounce) can cream of coconut
1 cup light rum
1/4 cup maraschino liqueur
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
Combine all ingredients in a large 2-quart container and stir until thoroughly mixed. Cover and chill in the freezer until mixture reaches the consistency of soft sorbet, about 24 hours. Using an ice cream maker*, pour in the coconut mixture and spin until thick and slushy. Keep cocktail chilled in the ice cream maker base while serving.
*Don’t have an ice cream maker? Try a blender and mix slowly.
2. Watch This! Sex and the City
We don’t have to say anymore. The fans are ready for this movie, and the excitement levels are off the charts. If you haven’t purchased your tickets ahead of time, you may be out of luck!

See through is oh so alluring…as long as you don’t cross that thin line that could surely put you into the trashy category! From blouses to dresses to wraps, love muffins, add drops of sheer to your fashion style this summer, and you can’t go wrong.
4. Hear This! “Adassa—Sexy”
Looking for a new song to blast while you’re getting ready for the streets? Turn up the volume on this one from Adassa. It’s all in Spanish, but we think you’ll get the gist. It’s so sexy!

Regarding #5…. Last summer, The Flat attempted to begin taking advantage of their beautiful lounge & poolside (albeit without charging a cover…). Yours truly only stopped by once–because the time she did, there was nobody (or at least nobody beautiful) there. The restaurant was not open, the scene was not crackin, and the deejay–bless his heart–was literally playing to a crowd of three. Lets hope that this year The Flat has hired a new event planner/promoter. Cuz honestly, The Professional would rather sip on B. Scott’s Coconut Slush concoction and lounge glamorously by her OWN pool
