May 29, 2008 McCain Attacks Obama On Iraq!
Obama is considering a trip to Iraq before the November elections he said Wednesday after Sen. John McCain attacked him on Tuesday stating “Sen. Obama has been to Iraq once, a little over two years ago.” McCain’s then followed up to Obama response by saying “it’s long overdue”. Love muffins, do you think John McCain is just finding something to bash Obama on or do you feel it is important for the future Commander and Chief to visit Iraq?! Thoughts!

I think it would be good for him to visit Iraq, but I don’t think he has too. It’s all but obvious exactly what’s going on in Iraq. I think spending more time in the U.S. and concetrating our nations problems should be the #1 priority for all of them.

I believe he should send a trusted delegation to Iraq first before he goes. He should not visit Iraq before being briefed on what is actually going on over there by his appointed delegation. so Yes he should visit only after the winetasters visit 1st!

and South Central too***

Actually no!!!This invasion should be monitored by the Administration. The Senators are elected to legislative procedure for their prospective states. The attack on Senator Obama, for not visiting Iraq’s simply more muff from Senator McCain.

I still think he should send a delegation over to report back but you are correct ..it is not his job…unfortunately most non-educated voters will think he is not doing his job…when in fact it is not his job…yet.

McCain is just running his mouth. It doesn’t matter who goes to Iraq or how many times because none of that changes the fact that many men and women have lost their lives in this war

I think that he should go what does he need to be briefed on he probably knows more than mccain and Bush put together! And I think that it would be good b/c even though we need him over here there are still our troops over there that need to see him as well!!! I say Go OBAMA!!!! There just scared that we are actually going to have the very first______ President!!!!!

John McCain has some nerves. Yes. He actually went to Iraq but he made such a huge gaffe (confusing who was training the extremists and needed Liberman to help him out) that it overshadowed his entire trip. His trip was quite embarrasing for him so he needs to shut it down!

People please think carefully about what has transpired over the last 8 years with the Republican administration. Also consider that McCain is purposely trying to distance himself from the current administration to ‘appear’ to be more progressive. “Appear” is the word of the day. Do we really want this human fossil record for president?

I believe Obama should visit Iraq I can only imagine what that would do to lift the spirits of our troops! If for any reason at all-go to support our troops and let them know they are supported.

I do think that visiting the troop would be a boost for them but just going over for that other crap, nah, i don’t see the point. Honestly bring everybody home and then there would be no need.

Now that we talked about this…Barack should do whatever the heaven he thinks he should do for this country… I trust his judgement – not mine – i don’t have all the facts he does. so that’s my thought now

B SCOTT…I’m feelin you right now…you are on a whole other level and i hope Hillary and Barack could just hear your latest post the battle is not yours!
McCain probably wouldn’t get it seeing as he is a snake from the seed of the Garden of Eden Snake family! trying to lead Barack into temptation…why would Barack go to Iraq with him …he’d no doubt use Barack as a human shield…please…

The more I think about this the more I want to say DON’T GO! For some reason I have a feeling that this is a set-up and that someone might be planning an attack on Obama. If he goes then he should show up unannounced. He should take his own security and he shouldn’t trust anyone there. I’m not totally sold on Obama yet, but I don’t want to see anything bad happen to him. I guess all I can do is pray for him while he is there.

Yeah this is just the old guy’s way of nit-picking. I trust Obama to use his best judgement. I love me some him!

Mccain has been over to Iraq at least 20 times and not much has changed as far as the policy in that region of the world. What good is visiting if you don’t put forth any solution to getting our troops out of there and focusing on Osama Bin Laden. Have you noticed that we hardly hear about the person that really attacked us. I agree with another person that commented, Obama needs to send a delegation first and then make the trip. Photo-ops , which Mccain and many others have done in the sake of the campaign, do our troops a bad disservice.
