I know people don't like to hear it. I feel that way about 911 in the U.S. It's not a thinking of "that's what you get". That would be wrong. But sometimes when people ask themselves WHY....there is always a bigger picture. I'm actually glad that she said what she said. So many spiritual/religious people all over the world, but it's ironic that most of these people are the same ones who will say she was wrong for saying what she said. Taken in that context, yes it does sound ignorant and harsh. She went on to say, (paraphrased)that she wondered if it was karma, but upon thinking about it in a different light, that she learned that you have to be nice to those who are not nice to you.
