Jesus take the wheel and drive me off the road! What is going on love muffins?! I came across this video earlier today of a mother informing the world that it is ok to breast feed children until the tiny tots for Christ decide they’ve had enough! This is totally outrageous and I just can’t believe this is real. In the beginning I thought this was some type of skit, but it is oh- so real! Here’s the monkey doodle-ness of it all, the babies toddlers have named their mother’s breasts, drawn pictures, and compared them to millions of melons! I only hope that the children grow up healthy – mentally and physically. Tell me love muffins, do you agree with this mother’s philosophy or has she bumped her head? Please let me know.

This is video is so outrageous! Eight year old children should not be breast feeding! The part that makes it so bad is the children say that its sweet and that they dont want to give the breast up! I think somebody needs to call the police on these people because I think they are getting sexual pleasure out of this!

you know this is bizarre, but i remember an acquaintance of our family had a situation like this, and i think the son was nine! i do’t know if it is worse that he is male or not! but it doesnt seem like when the child has incisors that they should be chew/suck or should i say “chucking” on the tittays? i do think breast milk is waaaaaaaaaay better for a human being than cow milk or that synthetic simi-lack! but this is not right! she should not let this go on…i think the moms be gettin her kicks…it’s not right on many levels! i am not judging…but please don’t pull that mess out and do that next to me at the stoplight/grocery store/mall/movies/park etc, cause i will call cps!

No, no, no, no NO! She needs to stop it. Seems breastfeeding is more to her advantage than that boy. If it were the other way around (let’s suspend reality for a moment) and she were a man doing this he’d be in jail. I dont mean to jump on the bandwagon, but she does indeed need to be slapped. She is going to confuse the hell out of that boy as he is damn near a pre-teen and I’m sure has already experienced changes going on in his body. He is going to either see her as a sexual object OR he will never grow up – either way, this display of behavior is so selfish that she needs to own up to it and deal with her own problems instead of masking it as being good for her son.

Um, I think it’s waaaaaay out of the norm and it makes me uncomfortable. Off the top of my head I think the current recommendation in the U.S. is maybe 16-18 months at the max, which I think most mothers do (if they do) in the interest of the baby’s immune system – not their IQ. So I do question the reasoning/rationale/sanity of the parents. What I’m most curious about, though, is the impact on the mother…what is the impact, hormonally and metabolically and whatnot, to be constantly lactating for – I’m guessing, close to 10 years??

Is there a law against this in England. In the U.S. this women might be prosecuted for sleeping with a minor. The mother is the only one getting pleasure out of this – at the expense of her own kids.
There has to be no empirical evidence that suggest the longer you breastfeed your child up till 8 years of age (particularly) results in whatever she claims it results in.

I am NOT against breast feeding…but when a child is old enough yo VOICE his or her OPINION about it, a lightbulb should go off and the breast needs to become unavailible. PERIOD. The father needs to step in and stop this madness. I MEAN SHE IS OVER A YEAR OLD…THAT IS TOO LONG IN MY OPINION.
Again this is just my opinion but I think she needs to cut Eliza off cold turkey…PRONTO!

She is keeping them on the breast because she enjoys it. period. In my opinion, she is a pedofile and her chilren are her prey. There is no reason whatsoever to continue breastfeeding a child of that age. It really is sick. If she felt she was giving them some sort of advantage through the ingestion of her breast milk, all she has to do is buy a breast pump. It is clear to me that this is a very ill situation. Seriously, someone does need to call CPS. The purpose of breastfeeding is to give the child his/her first immune defenses. At their age, there is no reason. Who does she think she is fooling?

I actually didn’t watch the video so I don’t know what exactly is going on, but…
in alot of countries across the world…horticulturalists, pastoralist, etc. they actually breastfeed children up to that age and probably sometimes older, no joke. it’s something that anthropologists study alot. it’s actually quite normal within those societies and healthy to feed a child that long. Americans have one of the shorter breastfeeding stages when it comes to mothers around the world.

Well, it’s not that really that bad is it? At least they are not ten! My children’s doctor breast fed her kids until they were five. I did it until my kids were each one year old. I didn’t do it past one year old because when they opened their mouths to feed and I saw all those teeth, I got scared! Besides, the full benefits of breastfeeding wans after the first year.

That was so disturbing to watch! In the United States it’s against the law to breastfeed after 5 yrs old, which I think is still too old. If they can walk and talk…that’s it! But the UK clearly have different laws for breastfeeding, and what the hell is wrong with her husband for letting this foolishness go on for all these years?? How has CPS not been brought in yet? How does this all seem to be ok to them? So many baffling questions, and the children seem to be obssessed with breasts now. This is molestation whether the children are consenting or not. As an adult she should know better than this and those children as well as the mom should seek couseling and CPS needs to be involved!

8 years is on long end of the scale to nurse….but the world health organization and unicef both reccommend breastfeeding for a MINIMUM of 2 years and beyond as mother and child both desire
in the USA the reccommended minimum is one year and beyond
anthropologists have long agreed that human children will naturally wean themselves from the breast somewhere between 2 1/2 and 7 years of age
it’s a damn shame there are still ppl that think that breastfeeding is disgusting and perverted…..and for the record….NO breastfeeding does not give a mother sexual pleasure
