May 24, 2008 Is Usher A ‘Whore’ Or A ‘Playa’?
Usher seems to be the it guy right now – from television interviews to being on the cover of Entertainment Weekly, all to promote his new CD Here I Stand. Usher explained how his album came to be what it is now.
”It starts off with a guy who’s in the club, having a good time, and going home with a woman. The character that I’m setting up is not a guy who is married right off; he’s a guy who goes through the journey of getting married….. I was going out night to night, having a different woman in my bed every time I chose, and I began to wonder: Am I really being a playa or am I a whore?”
Everyone knows Usher loves older women, so what really made him settle down?
Love muffins, I say he was a…a man-whore! Yes I said it – no I am not tipsy, not yet. At least he realized that what he was doing was not healthy. I hope he had a rubber every time – shoot I hope he got tested. Wow, I am getting a crazy image of Quentin Tarantino’s character in Planet Terror as he tries to rape the lead character, but his testicles started to drop, transform, and blisters formed causing the pulse to ooze (Planet Terror is a splendiferous gory movie – I loved it).
At first, when I heard the CD after it was leak, I was disappointed. There were only a handful of songs I liked. However, I took another listen to the album, and more songs grew on me. Here I Stand is not as good as Confessions, but I think he this album will at least go platinum. To read more, visit Entertainment Weekly. Thoughts?

Alright alright we know your not GAY (allegedly) and we know Tameka isn’t a man (allegedly)
BUT
You don’t need to tell us that you had many women sleeping in your bed every night.
and with as much partying as you were doing back than. I’m sure there were a few intoxicated nights. So how many of those women were WOMEN and Whoa-Man? (allegedly)

Love D Hall–THANK YOU! We all know that Usher loves men. This whole marriage to Tameka is a front (if its even real).I think he’s a great entertainer and Confessions is going to be hard one to top, but he needs to stop playing.

Why has this post about his CD turned into a discussion about him being gay? I don’t think any of us should pretend we care about the personal lives of celebrities outside of their entertainment value to us. If Usher never sang a note, we wouldn’t know or care who he was. The question was do you think he was being a man-whore. So why are we focusing so hard on rumors or his sexuality?

Because they want that rumor to be true… Usher has been dealing with that rumor forever. What male R&B singer hasnt had the “gay” tag planted on them? Really get over it. If he really is gay, that is his business. Unless you were the man he laid down with, you have no ground to stand on so move on.

He just reminds me of one of those lil bamas that didn’t get enough spakin’s when they were little. I know I’m not the only one who sees this.

spoiledbritt86 & reese when a celebrities puts their personal life out there by bragging about their past conquest and using rumors to help push CD’s such as confessions.
That celebrity is fair game. And for the record I personally don’t wish Usher was gay he’s not my type. He’s a good looking guy and as I said in previous posts he’s a talented singer and dancer but he’s not using that too push CD’s which is sad that needs publicity stunts to do so.
First it was Confessions when he was using rumors about cheating and getting girls pregnant on the cd. Now this CD it’s about all the women he had sex with and now he’s mature.
We don’t need to know all that, I don’t need to know all that. I just want Usher to sing and dance.

Exactly! These celebrities put their personal business out there, not us. And not every male R&B singer gets the “gay” label, but I know for a fact that Usher ain’t checking for no women only. These celebrities like creating fantasy to mask what’s really going. Personally, I wish all of them would just sit down and do what they do best and that is to entertain.

i think he is over rated. vocally he’s mediocre and his dancing is really not doing anything. Usher will be 30 in october..i think its time that he expands his musical horizion and try to do different things vocally and musically. there has to be something ele he can sing about ther than cheating. negro you are 30..grow up!!!!
