Stay Down is THE song for me. I have been a fan for a long time. This song touches me on so many levels. It takes me back to when my husband kept the fort down when I was in nursing school. Twenty years later, here we are; still living, learning, and loving through it all. He stayed down. We are a bi-racial couple (I'm a black woman and he is a white man) who have weathered all storms here in Texas. We have Five beautiful children. Three in college and doing well, one in high school and middle school. Stay down is it for me, he can still get it in on that song! Thank you!
